There is no harm in using prediluted antifreeze...it's the same as non-diluted, only you are paying top $$$ for them to add water, which is basically free. It's only worth buying if you are in dire need of filling your radiator and you don't have water available or the means to measure out the proper antifreeze/water mixture. Old ladies also find it convenient...

As far as mixing it with other types of antifreeze...if the label says it's safe to do so, then it is safe to do so providing you maintain your cooling system by flushing it as the manufacturer recommends (ie, every 36,000 miles)

Think about it "Pizza". The price of premixed is the same or more than standard antifreeze. Read the label and you will find that it's premixed with 50% water so you pay the same for half as much antifreeze. Buy regular strength and get twice as much for the money. Water is cheap. It's a really good deal for the companies that make it. What a racket.

yes you can mix the 2. The coolant you are seeing is basicaly a Dex-Cool coolant with a different color. They call it amber. It is a long life coolant (which can be mixed with standard green) that is why it has a nuetral color so it can be used for green or orange. I dont like it and do not use it in my shops. I use whatever the manufacturer recommends. I could save myself some money by buying the what Pennziol calls "Complete" anti-freeze but I dont think that is right. I would be pretty upset if I got coolant changed or added and they used the all in one coolant on my car.

In theory, the pre-diluted does not have to be mixed with anything at all, you just pour it in.

If you are referring to mixing it with the old antifreeze, you can, but I do not recommend it. Although the active ingredient is the same in most of them, the anti-rust additives that are added are sometimes incompatible and will leave residue in the bottom of your radiator that will eventually reduce its efficiency. Always do a complete flush, and if you have a leak, fix the leak and do a complete flush.

all it is is that they have already diluted the antifreeze for you. usually says 50/50 on it. those are best to use. prestone is a favorite among us. all you'll have to do is pour it into your radiator. you can ck your water level when radiator is cold/cool to touch(on the cap).unscrew,an stick your finger in.if you dont feel anything, then look inside an fill it. if you do then you don't need to ck it for awhile.its always a good idea to ck it once a month in winter and everyother month in summer.

I USE THE 50/50 PREMIX ANTIFREEZE ALL THE TIME. YOU SHOULD NEVER MIX DIFFERENT GRADES OF ANTIFREEZE. THE COMPONENTS IN ENGINEMAY NOT REACT WELL AND ONTOP OF THAT THE ENGINE MAY NOT COOL ENOUGH AND THAT COULD DAMAGE THE ENGINE BLOCK.

I would use what is recommended for your car. They have the newer red anti freeze now and you don't want to mix that with other. Buy anti freeze for your vehicle and mix it the way you want or as they say to mix it.

boy talk about how lazy Americans are becoming, it should cost half of what a regular gallon of antifreeze costs, otherwise you are paying extra for the water
