in my friend's pc, internet explorer has got corrupted & is not working . what should he do?

You can try reinstalling it:
Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs then click the Windows Components button on the left then you just uncheck IE and it will uninstall. Then, go back into it and check it then it will reinstall. If that doesn't work, try FireFox...it works so much better than IE anyway.

Download a newer version of IE, then download Mozilla Firefox, a much better Internet Browser. For the most part you need IE only to access content off the microsoft website

Tell him to un-install it and re-install a new one. to uninstall Go to control Panel>Add/remove programs/Add or Remove windows componen select internet explorer only, thten follow the Next button. To download another internet explorer, go to www.microsoft.com

delete the current IE and install a new one go to Microsoft Website. Go to Control Panel and Add and Remove program
