The Rock by far...
WHen Hogan was in the buisness, there wasnt as much talent in the wwe as there is when the rock was in there. The only reason Hogan won most of his matches was because he was an arrogant asshole. He told vince he would quit if he didnt win.

As a side note, At one of the pay-per-views this year, they wanted to do another Hogan/HBK match, but have HBK win this time, but he wouldnt do it unless he won.

Hulk Hogan

When Hulk Hogan was in his prime and defeating wrestlers like King Kong Bundy, The One Man Gang and Andre The Giant it's hard to imagine anyone beating him. Even with everything that The Rock acheived, when Hogan was in his prime nobody could touch him.

For over 10 years Hogan dominated the WWF and for 90% of the time everyone loved him. The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, The Ultimate Warior and John Cena just never really had as much fan support as what Hogan did. The fans have been fickle towards them at certain points of their careers but not Hogan. It's doubtful that you will ever see anyone like Hogan come along for quite some time.

The closest that there has been since Hogan I'd say would be Stone Cold Steve Austin. Even as a bad guy he sold more merchandise than anyone else. The same with Hogan when he was a heel in the nWo.

But like I said before, in that 80's period nobody could touch Hogan even if they were around then and they were in their prime too. Not Austin, not The Rock, not John Cena or anybody. But that's just my opinion some people may feel differently...

Rock => Still Young, Hogan => already has-been!

Rock => More roles in movies, Hogan => Limited roles in movies.

Answer, The Rock leads a "better" career path.

I would say Hogan, Even though i don't like him that much but he is a Legend. If the Rock was in hogans prime time , I doubt if rock could have beaten him ... But i would agree that The Rock did have good talent.

Hmmmm.. this is quite hard so I'd say given their qualities as wrestlers (and I'd give as actors a chance) they are almost EQUAL. Though I really prefer The Rock because for one he has already proven he's better by beating Hogan at Wrestlemania twice and he's really a funny person (and cuter than Hogan! right girls?). But then again, they're both cool and each is an idol to many.

The Rock is a better wrestler during his intercontinental title days. Hogan i think can cut a better promo, The rock got too gimmicky with his promos towards the end.
