My partner lives with me but keeps his mobile with him at all times, I have checked it before and there was late saturday night message to a girl he denied anything was going on, stories don't match up. I am 80% sure he is cheating but can't catch him out, can't afford a private investigator, what tricks are up your selves to catch him out ?

ok although he has his cell with him at all times.. why arent u checking out the cell phone bill to see who is calling him and who he is calling? U obviously have a computer, so why arent u checking the hisory on ur computer to see where abouts he's going online? Why arent u showing up at where he says he's going to see who his is with???? If u only have one car get a friend to be a co-conspirator with u and have her take u , or borrow someones car and do it urself "parents car" for instance if they live near by.. take a camera with u incase he is up to no good so u can prove with out a doubt where he was so he cant lie to u or deny it..check his pockets , go through every inch of the car.. go through anything and everything of his, wait till he falls asleep at night go through his phone and dont feel bad about dialing numbers that u dont recognize.. matter of fact id turn the damn thing off, after and hide the phone where he cant find it.. and play dumb that u dont know what he did with it, and even help him search for it..(especially if he has been out drinking) u can blame that if he wasnt drinking he'd remember where he put his phone at.. U dont need a private investigator, u just need to be smart and actually act as if u were a private investigator..

strange concept i know but why do you want to prove he is a cheat? i think that if you are 80% sure then you know something is not right in your relationship. i have been in your shoes and i wish i had not spent so much of my time worrying about what my husband was doing and who he was doing it with.my best advice would be to do the same thing back to him. that is keep your phone on you all the time even in the bathroom ,check it constantly, arrange some evenings out but be vague about who you going with, just act differently, change your clothes hair ,make-up..... if he notices and he becomes suspicious and questioning then you would have interested him enough to get his attention.if he doesnt notice or care then he would have strayed no matter what you do or try to prove.OR you could save all the stress and say that you need to go to Relate with him as there are some issues that you need to discuss them. talk about the secretive stuff that doesnt add up in front of a 3rd party.its the best way find out what going on as he will find it harder to lie or change the subject there. You need to be ready to deal with whatever news he may reveal. prepare for the worst but expect the best.good luck ,take care thinking of you..ps we are still together happily and our relationship is now much stronger.

You either trust him or you don't trust him. If you don't trust him you know that yourself and you do not require proof of his affair.

Ask him about it, tell him your concerns are serious and you are thinking of leaving him whether he confesses to the affair or not. Give him the options below and make sure that you go through with them.

If he denies everything you should just split up. If the trust is gone, the love is gone. Try to establish a policy of telling each other everything next time you are in a serious relationship with another man.

If he can come up with a good explanation for the anomalies you have witnessed, stay and try to sort out the mess you have made.

If he is having an affair and admits to it, it's your call whether you stay or go.

Usually men that cheat give the old line "I have to work late" so hide out near his place of employment and follow him. Be sure you are not seen by him.

Strange phone calls where someone phones, but doesn't answer.

Working too much over-time (if possible check his O/T on his next pay check.

Check your credit card statements very carefully for signs of dinners out, motels or hotels and even car rentals.

....I suggest, looking through your partners mobile phone book, missed calls, outgoing and recieved calls,
Also searching their name on internet(youll be suprised of what youll find)

another sign is if He'll avoid you around the house, closing doors, or secluding hiself in other rooms, or is more irritable when asked simple questions.

go through his entire workshop, drawers, car and anywhere else he could have hidden information.
check his mobile phone bills..

try to get access to his email inbox. offers a lot of clues!

hope this was helpful.

Who needs tricks, catching him, proof/private investigator if you're 80% sure he's cheating?

It's not a court of law --- it's a relationship. You are not required to have probable cause,or a preponderence of the evidence; nor are you saddled with burdon of proof. If you see something that's going on and you don't like it, you are free to bail at any time.

This smacks of insecurity. He may be cheating, but "he keeps his mobile phone with him all times" - that's why they're called "mobile phones". He has text messages to a girl - are men in relationships not allowed female friends? I have plenty of plantonic friendships with females. Going through his mobile is inexcusable and an invasion of privacy. You obviously don't trust him, and without trust, there is no relationship. You may as well end it now.

It'll drive you mad! I get up in the night to check his phone but he has now put a PIN lock on it (he did have an affair so it's not all in my head.) He has changed the passwords on his email accounts, and keeps me in the dark about what he's doing on his laptop......I'm not stupid, but I can't prove it's still ongoing. I keep praying,, I know God will help. Without Him I would have gone mad already. Got our joint account set up online so I can keep tabs on that, and also our phone bill online so if he makes a call, I know very quickly. Search drawers for passwords written down, or watch him closely. And try to rebuild your marriage.

One way you can prevent his cheating for good is a male chastity device. This can be introduced as a fun sex game to spice up your relationship. The CB-3000 is impossible to get out of without breaking it or getting the key. See the site below for full details.

If ever he is with someone else, then it means he is not happy with you. Probably there are things that he isn't getting with you and is getting from someone else! To get him back to you, just try to be like the other women. Surprise him, adore him, make love very often with him, make positions you never did before, take care of him, do what he likes, prepare very good food everyday, do exercises to keep your line, always try to be beautiful for him. Try all these and see if he doesn't come back to you. If he don't, then leave him!

I think you have already caught him out! Ditch him and find a real bloke!! :-)
Otherwise get a spare sim card and phone and have some flirt texts with him (ensuring he doesn't know its you) and see if he texts back/ agrees to meet up etc etc see hoe far he will go- this will be proof enough that he is even capable of cheating!!
