Often. My husband, when I first met him, was 'funny looking' to me. Now he is handsome to me. He is very blond and fair and I always liked darker men, brown or black hair. Now I love blond hair and green eyes.

I absolutely could not stand to look at this guy I went to school with. He was ugly; bald and had a real big stomach. Anyway, my junior year of high school, we had a class together. Just so happened that my teacher put us in groups of two and I got stuck with him. I didn't think I was going to make it.

It was a Practical Living class, so we were assigned to act like a married couple! I couldn't believe that I had got stuck with this guy. The next day we got started talking about stuff and I found out that he had a really good heart and his eyes were beautiful. It was something I'd never noticed before. I became really attracted to him. We still talk and things, but we never dated. But if asked me out, I'd definitely go.

Repulsed and not attracted are 2 different animals. If I'm repulsed I don't want to get to know them further. HOWEVER, I have been not attracted and, after getting to know them, became attracted. This question is weird.

Yes! My current partner is not the type i;d ordinarily go out with. We have now been together for nearly 3 years and i am greatly attracted to him. I only get glimpses of 'your ugly' when he is being horrible to me, which unfortunately is alot of the time. But over time, I have become more and more attracted to him. Wierd. But just goes to show that its not all about looks.. (he's incredible funny which helps).

Definitely,a person can be average looking and win you over with their personality and they can be great to look at but can't hold a conversation in a bucket. There have been many times that I wasn't attracted to a person until i got to know them.

physical attraction is not the true value of what is important. however this is the first thing all of us notice and sad to say if a person has serious physical blemishes we tend to shy away from them rather than looking inside. a person had an accident in their younger years whom i thought was not worth knowing at first but later found out she was extremely involved in politics and had been a mayor of her city. this definately helped change my attitude.

I overheard a remark made by a man about me when I was bending over at work and it wasn't very nice. I thought to myself, "oh really, I bet I can make you want me."

I wasn't attracted to him at all, but I like a challenge and I wanted to put him in his place. I sit out to make him want me and if possible fall in love with me.

In order to do that, I had to pretend I actually liked him which lead to conversations and eventually to a genuine interest.

Yep, you guessed it - we did fall in love!

Suffice it to say he is attractive but he wasn't the type I usually looked for in a man.

Yes I have! I was repulsed by my fiance! He looks alright (Hot!) but thats not what repulsed me, it was his attitude.
