ive read in the net that this can cause TEMPORARY infertility, but can it cause permanent infertility? well im concerend a lil bit cause i love hot showers. and is there a difference between hot baths and hot showers when it comes to this? im just concerned and now i dont use the heater anymore unless in night time and its raining so hard.

There is no evidence of this. Sperm are temperature sensitive, so a hot tub can kill the sperm already produced. However, the glands responsible for sperm production are not sensitive in this way, so unless you stay in the hot tub permanently, production will start again when you get out of the water and your body cools down.

Yes, if the water is 100 Celsius (212 Fahrenheit) it will cause infertility permanantly, mainly because you will be dead.
