A database program, - like Microsoft Access.
Microsoft bought the FoxPro company, back in the mid-90's. Took over it's customer base, and the "Rushmore" technology for table searches.

Hi,
Foxpro is basically a Database Management System. Foxpro comes for dos(latest version 2.6). foxpro for windows (2.6) and visual foxpro 9.0. using foxpro u can write very good softwares like accounting, billing, banking, hospital management etc. Using Visual FoxPro 9.0 u can even write net based applications. if the data is small then the best software to manage that data is foxpro. but with visual foxpro u can write complex applications. even u can connect to backend like sql server. for more info or for softwares u can call me at 9945965075 or email me at lakshmiteja@rediffmail.com

foxpro is one of the original database programs it was popular back in the 80's. MS Access has pretty much replaced it as an off the shelf database program.
