when someone loves you, he accepts you andhe likes your essence, he feels sincere affection for who you are. When someone is IN love with you, is like he's drugged of you, and is almost obsessed with you. People can love someone without being in love with them...and viceversa...
I think that if someone is in love with you he is a little bit crazy, so he doesn't really act rationaly, he just let go to his "sickness"
