Borders: open immigration except for criminals. Build holding facilities for actual criminals and use deadwood like you as insulation.
Taxes: Get rid of IRS welfare for the wealthy and make rates equitable and as loophole free as possible. Revise the AMT to protect the middle class.
SS: prevent the government from raiding the fund and put actual financial planners in charge instead of poilitical appointees.
Across the aisle: Condoleeza Rice is not in Congress, and God willing will soon be nothing more than a disgusting memory. Bipartisanship is muc easier when there are sane people across that aisle.
Gas prices: They are currently faling, do try to keep up.
Property taxes: like all taxes, they need to be fair and equitable, Maiking the wealthy pay there fair share would help.
Blaming Bush: he has a lot to answer for, but a return to the Constitution would be a heck of a start.
And if I may ask, what do YOU have to offer except an nasty attitude and a knee-jerk hatred of Democrats?
(BTW, I checked out your 360 page and noted you have no friends. Why am I not surprised?)

I'm a registered Democrat... Not sure how many of the other posters are.. I suspect that the majority of them that jump on the "Let's Bash Bush" bandwaggon are not old enough to be registered though. I like doing research. I like checking into other posts that people make to try and get a true picture of where some of these people are coming from. Quite often other threads that they partake in clearly indicate how young or naive they are. Why do I brin this up and ridicule fellow "Democrats? Well, I'm tired of the childish games. I see very little that they offer in a productive way. It is almost embarassing.
Anyways.. back to your questions (which nobody else answered so far) Oh wait, I see that Patricia has responded since I started composing this post.
Winning the War on Terror is going to take the fortitude of the American people to stand together as a unified force unwavering, we need to set a good example for other countries and their citizens to follow, putting aside all personal political agendas with the commitment to defeat the terrorists before they can bring harm to us or our allies. For this reason, good or bad, like them or not, I will support my country and my President whoever he/she may be now or in the future..
Protect our borders from invasion? Stop trying to play nice with Mexico. They are exploiting the US and that has to stop. Illegal immigrants ARE criminals. At least they would be classified as such if our government would do their jobs. They are lawbreakers. How can we keep looking over that? Beyond that, perhaps I would decide that public officials such as Sen. Robert Byrd and Sen. Ted Stevens who are both huge offenders of "pork" legislation be stopped. Sen Byrd requested over 28.5 million in expenditures that included 16.8 million for the Institute for Software Research (2002); $3.6 million for the Appalachian Fruit Laboratory in Kearneysville (2005); $3.5 million for the National Tracing Center in Martinsburg (2002); $2.7 million for the Wood Education and Resource Center (2004); $1.7 million to equip West Liberty State College residence halls with Internet access (2003); $250,000 for the National Center for Cool and Coldwater Aquaculture (2000); $160,000 for poultry litter composting (2004); and $95,000 for the West Virginia State Museum for its Civil War regimental flag collection (2002). Then you have Sen. Ted Stevens using money he filched from federal taxpayers this year, Stevens’ allocations included $2,000,000 for the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, $750,000 for sea otter research in Alaska and $225,000 for the Beluga Whaling Committee. Over the past three years alone, Sen. Stevens has brought home $1.3 billion in pork. Alot of money. This money could be used to strengthen our ports and borders which are vulnerable. I'd give pilots guns.
Tax rates fair for all? Throw out the tax code as we know it. Institute a sales tax that people would pay a set rate of taxes on products and services they receive. Everyone would be paying the same percentage. The rich obviously would be paying the vast majority of taxes. They purchase more.
solution for the ailing social security system? First, based on where a senior citizenlevel of "other" income is, I would either raise it or lower it. This would include discontinuing medicare and social security benefits for all citizens in the upper 25% of income. They paid into it? Sorry.. We are in a crisis, we need to cut somewhere. I would wipe out assistance to drug addicts and drunks. The fact we pay huge sums of money to these people on a monthly basis is absurd. Public assistance in general? A large portion of it I would wipe out.You want public assistance? We as tax payers want public service. Put your boots on, you are going to give back something of what the tax payers are giving you. Everyone has something to offer. Noone is immune. IF you can't use your hands and legs you can use your minds. If you are physically incapable and mentally incapable, you pass the test. We support you.
reach across the isle and work with people like Condi Rice? Absolutely. If the lady is doing her job in the best interest of the American people, yes.
rising gas prices? Lessen our dependence on foreign oil. Drill in ANWR. For goodness sakes, we are talking about exploring 1/10,000th of ANWR. It seems assinine not to use this as a option to get out from underneath the Arabs for oil.
middle class Americans suffering from unfair property tax? I'd institute a "renters tax". It is true that the property owner is being unfairly discriminated against simply because they own property.
anything to offer besides blaming Bush? As a responsible citizen of the United States I refuse to lay all the blame for where our country is today at George Bush's feet. I blame greedy politicians on both sides of the political arena that don't give a hoot about what their actions in Washington are costing the American public. I blame France, I blame Canada, I blame Russia and I blame Spain. Had these countries had a backbone and stood against what is a global threat from terrorism that you are seeing around the world and in Iraq, would never have happened. Iran and North Korea would never have decided it is alright to play the dangerous games they are. We would have accomplished a reasonable peace in the MiddleEast. Why? Because the extremist would not have stood a chance. The desire to humiliate the Americans has accomplished one thing. It has made fighting the War on Terror successfully and with much fewer losses virtually impossible.

Look. Are you asking for the impossible?? Think about it. Democrats and their liberal friends cling to old, worn out ideas and programs. They are for higher taxes, bigger government, and whatever else drains our pocketbooks as they support handouts and federal give-aways. Never look to the Democrats for solutions. They are the best at creating the problems, not solving them.
Chow!!
