If you could predict what was going to happen you could change things so that the future you predicted did not happen. This means that your prediction was wrong so you can't predict the future......... my head hurts.

I can imagine the sense of perplexity and wonder this type of brooding brings along. So near, and so close, the moment that was to come just a moment ago, it is now here, the present, and before we even realise it fully, it is gone, gone forever leaving a sense of loss and helplessness against time for those who think and feel. It is an interesting thought nevertheless, but just a thought and world is for more than thoughts that run through our mind.
We can predict what is going to happen in the next moment only if we know with full certainty what is happening now!
If we are able to focus our mind sharply upon the present moment and know it well then we know about the nature of time, or its reality. But if we focus our entire mind on the present moment, how would we find time to think about the next moment?
There is an even greater reality in this paradoxical question: For if we become the moment present ourselves then our perception will not be divided along the stretched of the time past, the time present and the time future, and various places of observation. Then we would that all moments stay but the same while we change. If we can become the present moment entirely we will also be the moment to come. For it is the present moments that gives birth to all future moments. If we are that precious present moment then might be able to speak from a different place, a different language about things that are normally beyond the perception of our senses.

Some people believe that quantium mechanics holds the answer to this quesiton.
I believe that we are able to make a farily good prediction about the future. That is why we make decisions. We make a prediction about what will make us happy, and then we attempt to do it.

We have that thing called intuition, but I believe it's good not to now what is going to happen in the next moment. Sometimes.

Nature made it that way. If we knew what was going to happen, we could prevent it from happening or make it last longer. Those who are one with nature can do everything you can't do.
The only way to know what was going to happen, is to either inhabit nature, or build a time machine.
But my idea is: Don't mess with time.

In most cases in life it is possible to predict what's going to happen in our own life but as far as worldwide events are concerned nobody knows.

Because our environment is saturated with unpredictability, with a bit of predictability thrown in for instances where you anticipate an unpredictable outcome.
