Only on Madden 07, they don't have a shot this year. they will have a hard time winning a game in that division.

Even if every single team in the NFL other than Cleveland went bankrupt and had to cease operations at somepoint during the season they STILL would not win the Super Bowl!!
Why? Cuz one of those indoor teams would petition for the right to play the Browns for the Super Bowl and then go out and beat them by at LEAST 20.

My wife is a lifetime cleveland fan so I have grown to support them. Unfortunately, I am begining to believe her theory that the team is cursed (back to the late 80s AFC Champ games against denver with the "fumble" and the "drive")
For example, this season, they lost their key FA acqusition, LeCharles Bentley C, to injury on the first day of practice!
That said, the key to the season will be the development of Charlie Frye, Kellen Winslow and wide receiver Braylon Edwards' comeback from knee surgery).
if these three players develop, i could see chasing a playoff spot but probably not a super bowl. My prediction is 7-9 or 8-8 this season but no playoffs

Probably not, but anything is possible. I am a huge Browns fan while my wife is a Steelers fan. There is going to be two times this year where we are going to have to watch football in a different room.

Not this year. I do think Romeo Crennel has them headed in the right direction but they have a young QB, questionable running game and inexperience on defense. I think 8-8 would be a good year.

They could stand a chance some day if they didn't have to play the Steelers twice a year.
