Heavy Metal is always great. Even some crappy heavy metal is ten times better than crappy rap or pop, BUT really good socially conscience Hip Hop is better than Heavy Metal. It's much harder to find these days, but it's the best.

Heavy Metal. I listen to anything rock, though. Nirvana, The beatles, anything old fashioned to new stuff, but recent music isn't as good.
