I just throw the hot liquid then scream like a 4 year old girl, run in circles, then run out of work for the day. Unless it spills on my clothes, then I rip them off as I run in circles, then leave.

My mam did that last year with a pan of boiling water spilt the entire lot over her hands and leg was not a pretty sight took her a couple months for her injuries to recover id never heard someone scream in pain like that

i know I'm terrible i always seem to over fill my cup and end up spilling it over my hands, then i have stand with my hand under the cold water tap it helps take the burning pain out , by the time i have done my drink as gone cold

the next time it happens to you just blew air from your mouth promptly to the water splashed on your hand . you don't have to wait till you set the cup down darling.

I've done this with hot coffee walking into work. And you can't cuss or scream or anything except pretend like it's ok.

Find a cup with a lid, they do make them. This will help. I am sorry u hurt ur wittle finger u pretty wittle girl. Can I kiss ur wittle hand and make it all better?

I hate it when that happens. I do it often. I have a tendency to fill my cup to the rim with coffee and I'm clumsy... I'm sure you can find how this can hurt me often.
