I've seen a handful of real wrestler vs average guy(s) fights over the years. The wrestler has won every single one of them. Usually very easily. They are big, strong, athletic and most do at least know the basics of how to hurt someone. Against an average guy the pro wrestler will win. If the guy knows martial arts, boxing, etc.. then that may tip it in the average guy's favor.

It's not camera tricks, but it is choreographed and staged. The wrestlers know the moves they're going to make before they go out, and they know who will win.
It's like sports for stupid people.

it amazes me those show are just like soap operas. i found myself watching it last week friday and thinking it was so fake. those fights are staged but they seem real to me.
