There are a few things that will almost always get you noticed by a college coach -
1. Grades - if you can't qualify academically, forget it.

2. Winning - players from teams that win state, big city or travel basketball tournament championships always get noticed

3. Height - 6'9" and taller usually get offers

4. Outside shooting - 40% or better from outside the arc and you're gold.

5. Point guard skills - running an offense, defeating a press by yourself, making post entry passes, setting the tempo, leading the fast break, driving to the basket, hitting the pull up jumper, dishing off to the wing, playing ball hawk defense, SMARTS

6. Finishing - athletes who can run the floor and finish in traffic - this means throw it down, or hit layups 100%, against defense.

7. Defense - solid on-ball and off the ball coverage, hustle after loose balls, help defense, shot blocking, lane clogging.

8. Coachability - paying attention in the huddle, running plays properly - fundamentals.
