I don't think it SHOULD be shown to the public, but you know there are sick individuals out there that want to see it. Everyone knows that a tape DOES exist, so it is just a matter of time before it makes it to the internet. Unfortunately, it will probably be seen a lot. My thoughts are with Steve's wife and family at this time.

They didn't say that he felt he would die on tape! They actually said steve thought if he was to go it would be in water as he was more agile on land,
No i don't think they should.
THIS IS A TRAGIC SAD ACCIDENT, not for entertainment of the mindless heartless bastards out there,
I don't believe his family will chose to releasse it, They will want privacy at this time.

Not at all. We know how it happened and why it happened. The family doesn't need to see it on the evening news, and I think a lot of people want to remember him as he was not as he was dying. God Bless to the Family you are in my prayers. The world is lesser now without Steve Irwin.

No, I do not think that is the kind of thing that should be viewed by the public. I think that it would be bad form and taste to put his wife and kids through that kind of thing.

Let the man rest in peace and let his family mourn. Would you want the video released to the public that showed your loved one being killed in that fashion? I think not. Steve Irwin died doing what he loved and I think that we should respect that and remember him for the joy he brought to television audiences everywhere. I know that the people living in my house will miss him terribly.

No. I think it would be a sick thing to do if any station were to air that tape. It is very hurtful to his family and friends and his fans. Irwin was a cool guy, he made you laugh and he was so enthusiastic about this work. I liked him. He helped people and animals, he will go on to a good place.

It is so sad that he left so suddenly.

i'm hoping they in no way tutor it. For one element what if years down the line that they confirmed that on television returned and Steves infants in simple terms occurred to be observing it that day. that would desire to be terrible. i actually could extremely remember Steve the way he became a stable guy or woman, somebody who needed to tutor the worldwide approximately each and all of the pleasing creatures that he enjoyed. i don't prefer to be certain him die.

Well, the police have the video right now and they are investigating. But, I don't know why the police have the video, are they going to arrest the stingray? But anyway, they are going to air the video of him being killed tragically. I don't know when they are going to. All I know its after the police are done with it. Its a very sad time and was just a FREAK ACCIDENT.

It would be highly educational for most people to see what it looks like when somebody dies. We all have a "morbid" curiousity - but I think it's natural. We're all going to die some day and we want an idea what it's going to be like.

But - can you imagine seeing your father or husband die over and over again on television? Even if they didn't watch the shows, they wouldn't be able to watch television at all without seeing the advertisements.

Since we already know the events, why do we need to watch the video? How much more information would actually be useful to us?

I think it would only appeal to those who wish to gloat ("He did such-and-such, and got killed, but I wouldn't have!"), or the morbidly curious ("Wow, cool! Play it backwards, now!").

I hope the tape is destroyed, as it should be.

Let the man rest in Peace and his family grieve.

On what program? Australia's funniest home videos?

I think you and others like you love to watch morbid videos of other people suffering. Just to elevate your own pathetic lives.
