It's not the first time that Materazzi said that he said this world to Zidane.
And I don't think that these are terrible words. Zidane had to answer with other words and not with one headbutt.
But nobody want to hear the truth , all people prefer to think that Materazzi is a devil, a racist, a bad person......and Zidane is only a victim!!!!!
Stop to invert the truth.
All world as to accept that Zidane had done a terrible mistake, a very bad things.
The guilt is not of Materazzi, is of Zidane.
Materazzi it has been also much honest one, has been disqualified because he said the truth to the Fifa, if it had not made it could not it have disqualified, because nobody had felt his words.
This situation is ridiculous, only because he is Zidane, if had been another player to give the headbutt nobody would have made all these controversies, only the author of the headbutt one would have been punished strictly and enough. If then it had been Italian I cannot imagine how many badnesses would have been said against the Italians!
Remember even Zidane can mistake, and it's not the first time...!

Sorry, I have nothing against Italy or France, but I do not believe that for a minute. Why is every comment or statement Materazzi makes automatically believed ? I doubt he would openly admit to anything worse. As I have said before, he would not be banned for two International matches if they were the only words admitted to in the hearing.Zidane may be no angel but neither is Materazzi. No man his age can be as naive over as many issues as he claims to be. The entire issue is over and dealt with by FIFA whether we agreed with the outcome or not and Zidane has let the incident go, and maintained silence, so why couldn't Materazzi do the same. The fact of the matter is no one will ever really know what was said, we were not there to hear it. Don't mean to offend anyone, sorry if I do, it's just my opinion.

That's wonderful, Touzours. The incident has long been over, and it is something of the past. At least the article, should its contents be true, contrasts some of the French supporters' calling him a homosexual. However, when that was all Materazzi really did say at the time, there was still no reason to headbutt him. I know you have plenty of rebuttals to this claim, but the truth is that violence was unnecessary in the first place, no matter what Materazzi said to supposedly "provoke" him. Both sides played a role and contributed to the incident. Neither should receive all of the blame.

Well , in fact I knew it but come on leave it alone now! You don't get tired talking of it for almost 2 months? I suppose that if it was Zidane that said that thing about the sister and Materazzi head-butted him, you would say the same things, Materazzi is a pig, he is a violent man, a true Italian etc.etc. We should all forget about the WC incident now and hope these things won't happen again, that's all. And as a sign of fair play: Good luck for Wednesday to u and all French fans(it's serious, not a joke, ok?) Bye.

Oh my dear french people...
I've checked the statistics, and there's a lot of italians that would prefer zizou's sister rather than zidane's jersey.
And if you see the final you'll notice that there was a mistake, france didn't loose. france won. We're sending you the cup back within two years, in 4006.
JUST NOTICE:
1 - Materazzi (in Italy) said, just the day after, in an interview:
"I DIDN'T told him anything about terrorism or his mother, don't make me say more."
When asked if he told about zizou's sister he DIDN'T deny.
2 - Zi-done said that he offended his mother too. That means someone is a liar.
3 - Zi-done's mother asked for materazzi's testicles on a silver dish (can you imagine that refined woman, while teaching good manners and head butting toher son?)
So Zi-done really said (to his mother too) that.
4 - Materazzi LOST his mother when he was fifteen, he would NEVER offend someone's mother at all. Maybe neither materazzi knew wether zi-done had a sister or not, nor zidone that materazzi's mother was dead when he was young.
Who is the liar?!?!?!?!?
moreover his refined mother showed that zidone is REALLY her son, who perfectly knows and speaks italian, as he became a mith in italy in juventus.
my dear french people, i really think that you, as a country and as individual persons, very often in the past showed us (and the world) how to behave. But this world cup showed your worst side.

NO, NOT AGAIN!!!!!!
Please note this is own translation, so it could be really poor.
I've 'Gazzetta dello Sport', 05 Sept (today), page 8, on my desk-
'I've answered by talking to a provocation - Both of us talked, and I wasn't the first one. I've catch his jersey, but do you think saying 'If you want, I'll give it to you when match ends' in a scornful way, isn't a provocation?
Journalist 'Maybe you had an excessive answer?'
'I've answered to Zidane I'd liked his sister (instead of the jersey), it's true. I've involved his sister and this wasn't fair, it's true. But dozens of players declared how more harsh words are usual in the field. It could be he was more 'French', and I more 'Italian', he was more 'ironic', I was more 'naive'.
[...]
'Did you feel FIFA officers weren't hearing your words?'
'I tried to explain myself. I declared it was right having Zidane Golden Ball awarded, I was willing to give him an handshake in front of FIFA Disciplinary Committee, and then, if he would give me his jersey, I would like to take it'
[...]
'Zidane has recently said to children to avoid what he did'
'He was right, he did well. But he hasn't apologize with me. Sure I don't need to apologize with him, but with his sister. And, before all this happened, I didn't ever know he really had a sister...'

Its not like its anything worse if that's the case.
