Alot of people are not happy with thier job. Are you miserable, are you ready for a complete lifestlye chage. I agree with the first commentor about school.

Think about what you're looking for, think decide what you want and what will make you happy and plan out step by step what you need to do to get to where you want to be, it may take a while and a bit of sacrifice but don't be stuck in something you don't like, life is too short to be stuck in a shitty job.

You do not have to stick to it!
You need to elaaborate on this...
If the work conditions, colleagues or renumeration and perks are not suiting you then these are factors that can be worked around---either by changing your attitude or trying to find similar work in a better company.
If the work itself is boring, frustrating or confusing then you have made a wrong career choice. Hold on to your job so that you have a running income---while you utilize your free time in the week to surf the net, explore your talents and find what work gets you excited, charged and happy. Train for the job, take a course, job shadow, moonlight anything till you are sure about the change. Then take a calculated risk and shift careers. Many people are doing it today and are making a success of it. Your working life is gonna be a long haul so get into something that is fulfilling. Do take your family into confidence especially if they are dependents. Their support will go a long way in allowing you to make the move. BOL

If its an official job and you have the qualifications then spread your resume and see if someone else is interested in your CV . Otherwise start looking round for another job that you may enjoy.

i find that going to school helps a lot because it creates an option and i feel i won't have to be in this exact job forever.
i have gotten much happier at work since i'm preparing for a new career through night school.
and honestly it doesn't matter if the new career ever happens
because it's already helping me cope with the current situation.
