No, I put the pillows on my knees, extend the opening of the case and slide it over them. The pillows that is, not my knees.

Not at all. When I put pillow cases on pillows I do it like I'm changing diapers on a baby. The pillow lays length wise to me, then I pull the pillow case cover over the far end of the pillow, and push the inside corners of the pillow towards the inside corners of the pillow case. Kind of like lifting a baby by the ankles when you tug their rubber pants under their cloth diapers when your done changing them. Strange but true.

No! I turn the case inside out then put my hands inside to each corner then pull the pillow inside leaving a perfectly formed pillow with case. I also do the same with quilts.

turn the pillowcase inside out, put your hands on the inside at the corners, grab the corners of the pillow and wrap the pillowcase around the pillow while pulling the pillow into it.
