With the system on, tap the drive a few times and push it as far shut as you can... Now, try the button that would open it regularly...
If it still won't open, there should be a small hole on the front of the drive... Straighten out the end of a paper clip and push it slowly into that hole... The tray should start to open... Continue until you can grip the drive... pull open slowly... Remove CD and push button to close...
If it still won't close, push shut slowly and the mechanism may engage... If not, close completely...
Now, reboot system and see if it'll operate normally...

If you look on the front of your drive there will be a tiny little hold. What you need to do is unfold a paperclip out and then insert it into the hole and this will manually eject the disc.
Don't worry it won't harm the drive.

Did you try disconnecting from mains and then on again?
Many drives have a pin hole where you can poke a needle to activate a mechanical eject mechanism. Look for a tiny hole in the front panel.
If you need to pry it open use a an adhesive/cellotape to stick a thread on it and pull in a quick motion but not too far.

If you look just under your dvd drive possibly on right hand side you will see a little hole. Use clip or something that will fit in the hole and push it in. This will open your DVD drawer.

there are two ways:
1) there is a small hole if u observe carefully just below the sliding part of the rom.... stick something like a pin and press it.. it will eject...
2)** the best method:
right click my computer---> properties--->hardware---> device manager---> ur cd rom---> right click on it and click the first option, ie uninstall
next, u can move to action menu under the same device manager tab... there u can go in for scan hardware changes
alternatively, u can restart ur pc upon which the hardware is automatically detected..
enjoyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!
