well I agree with u.....and would add a detail.........the people who actually fight as terrorists are poor but those who command them are rich. Those who make use of terrorists to spread terror are actually very weak and having realized that they employ these tactics ....and those who confront these terrorists are the real powerfull...the real hero's.!

I think it is a very good statement. It is not too simple or general at all. I would like to add that it all is at the hands of the rich and powerful. Power and oppression are the causes of aggression.
Back before 2000 I used to think that we had progressed, to some degree, away from this kind of world crisis. I am disturbed by what I see and how one sided everyone seems to be. It is only through understanding that we will progress and that means looking at all sides of a story, not just our own.

its false, bin laden and saddam were both muli- millionaires without the use if american money. the rich are more likely to benifit from war than a person that is poor and cant afford to leave a war torn area. Poor people arent weathly enough to travel from country to country trying to set bombs on planes or in buildings. so the rich man is the biggest terrorist in the world, because they can afford the resorces to act on their evil plots.

Terrorists are just violent criminals who haven't gotten power yet.
Our own forefathers were clearly insurgents and viewed as such by the British. Terrorism is largely a convenient moniker for those in power. I say this sadly.

I think the essential truth of that statement lies in the fact that no matter what we call it, aggression is still aggression.
Regardless of how rich or poor we are, we fight when we are threatened. That's all it says; and in that sense, it is painfully true.

I would say that that is true in its simplest terms but it doesn't work that way. If the terrorists were rich they would fight with a full on army, its because they don't that they have to use suicide bombers. Its just like if you had to write a 10,000 essay, you would do it on your computer unless you had no choice then you would write it by hand.

Nice catch-phrase. Very silly and non-sensical, but very catchy. Do you live in Luton or Bradford?

I cannot say it is totally wrong, but it is a bit over generalized.
