My fiance and I had unprotected sex four days after my periods ended. Five days later I started getting bad cramps on the left side of my pelvic region which resulted in bleeding. It was a rich red color which lasted through the night. It stopped the next day. Four days later I had light brownish spotting for two days with no cramps. My Dr says that i could be pregnant or it could be something else. I think it's something else coz my fiance and I didn't even finish sex. We stopped after a couple of mins and no one ejaculated.

It sounds to me as if it is a hormonal imbalance. In other words, you're having bleeding inbetween your periods. It is quite unlikely that you are pregnant. It is possible but unlikely. It doesn't sound like there's been trauma to the area. Therefore, the bleeding is being set off by some type of hormonal thing (whether that be pregnancy, period or a cyst.) Most likely your progesterone levels are fluctuating up and down, so you are getting that stop-start beleeding (as when progesterone levels drop, we bleed.) I've had the same type of thing before, and it's annoying isn't it, because you never know when it will start again. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine.

I do not think that you are pregnant. The bleeding and cramping could have been a number of things. If it happens again I would have your doctor look further into it. Ovulation- the time that you are able to become pregnant-USUALLY occurs about 14-17 days after the first day of your last period. I think that is highly unlikely that you ovulated 4 days after your period ended. Even if sex isn't finished a woman can still become pregnant. Sometimes a man can have pre-ejaculate when he becomes aroused. This can contain sperm, which can make pregnant. Take a pregnancy test if you miss your next period.

First of all, how long is your period-cyclus normally and how long was your period? If your period-cyclus is more than 28 days and your period was only 5 days, the chance that you are pregnant is very very small.

Secondly, the fact that there was bleeding, it reduces the chance that you are pregnant because even if your egg is fertilized by your fiance sperms, the bleeding might mean that something wrong happend with the embryo resulted.

So, my conclusion is that you are NOT pregnant.

Technically, you could be pregnant - even if you don't ***, there could be semen - and it only takes one. Also, the morning sickness and other signs of pregnancy start showing after weeks, not days.

I would stay in touch with your doctor, and definitely know to check if your pregnant if you have missed a period. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion. Best of luck to you.
