She is a good news reporter. She is not too perky; she has shown that she has a serious side, and can ask the tough questions. It will last. This is groundbreaking having a woman do this, and the woman is way over 40. Friendly, yes...but, can we please stop calling her perky?

I didn't get a chance to watch the world news tonight...but I never really thought of Katie as being a good choice for the evening news...I really wish she was still at NBC for the Today show...she was really good there...Likewise I don't see Meridith Viera looking good on the Today show either....:-(

She is fake and when she smiles her perky smile we see way too much gum.
She is not good and she is FAR from impartial.

I think she does a fine job and I can't wait to see how she'll do at night. she too cute. mabey a little silly too.
