Try to disprove them that 4B stars exist.
Try to disprove them that the paint is wet.
Former one - it is from a scientific community. You do not normally question it. Just accept it as a fact.
Latter one - Curiosity (jus' wanna test it for myself...!! type of mentality).

To answer your q, i believe you can check the paint but it will take much longer to count the no. of stars, don't you think

I would just accept that the paint is wet.....no skin off my nose if it is or it isnt.

they cant really prove they are not that many stars, but can prove that the paint is actually already dry
