Yeah i seen him play quite a lot in the Dutch league. Admittedly, the league is weaker than the premiership however he still looked very good. He's a fighter and will add to the liverpool team something they currently lack. Would be good alongisde Bellamy whose looking like hes going to have a great season. Kuyt was also captain at his last team and so his effort and determination are understandably high. A good all round player though he does lack pace...

I saw him play in the match Hollan vs Portugal for the first time, but you see you couldn't notice much in that (if you can call it so) match. He had some opportunities to score and I think he wasn't a bad player. I also think he is one of that strikers that like to work for the team and get the ball from behind, so he doesn't stay right before the net and wait for the ball to come.

thoguht he played poorly or just average during the world cup...but he was fantastic in his debut against west ham...will be looking forward to seeing him play, and keeping my fingers crossed that liverpool's striking woes are over!!

well his first few touches for liverpool were good, i belive benitez has done his homework, so he should be a great signing to play along side bellamy
