Thanks to the author of the first answer! Yes, I've been thinking about that. Unfortunately, at place where I live right now there is no specialized piano stores. There is, however, a music store that has pianos. But, as far as I know, they have a tuner who works for them. I am not the only one in the area: I know from the internet, that there is another tuner (at least one) in our town, and at least one more in a 15 mile radius.

Get a job at a piano store and you'll get enough experience to develop your ear and speed.
