You need to install Java Enviroment Software. go to Java.com and it has a link right in front page called "Download Now" to update you Java Runtime Envirment.

http://www.java.com

Note: for running the applets you dont need JRE 5 Update 8 since that is for developers and its pretty big to install. with just a quick link I mentioned above you will be fine.

Yeah thats the problem I've faced many times when I used Windows XP.
This problem is due to Active X control, you have to install 'Java Runtime Envorinment (JRE)' on your system, then you can play yahoo pool.
You can download it free from the software section of
http://www.funmaza.com

Thanks!

well either you have a popup blocker activated or you do not have active x or a java console downloaded onto you PC.

go to :http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp to download the java console.
