I think only a physician can diagnose a busted ear drum. See a doctor.

You can make that diagnosis if your eardrum suddenly sprouts breasts.
If your eardrum is torn or ruptured, you will experience a lot of pain and sudden profound hearing loss. There may be blood pouring out of your ears as well.

You will be in a lot of pain...if you are having problems go see your doctor for a proper diagnosis..

If it hurts,is red & swollen, and the hearing is not good.
