Have a FOXPRO appli on my Sys. Sys packed up due to Pentium Processor or EDO RAM malfunction. When try to copy the application on to another Sys HDD, few DBF files not geting copied and a msg comes that files cannot be copied. Checked the write protection also of said files. How do I retrieve said files and make my application functional as the application is critical for my billing activities.

Hai,

1.take the list of files which u are not able to copy
2.go to foxpro
3.for eg. if u cannot copy customer.dbf follow the following
4.use customer &&opens the dbf
5.copy to custbak
do steps 4 & 5 for all dbfs which u cannot copy
6.copy these files to your new harddisk
7.rename these files back to its original name in your new sys
8.run ur software
9.reindex the file
