I am 18 years old and I have feelings for an older woman(who is 35). Its nothing sexual, but its just that I really like being around her, and find her very pretty. She is very friendly towards me. I often start thinking about her. I am sometimes left feeling that someone like her would make an ideal soulmate for me later on in life. But are these feelings normal?

I can’t work out from your question or profile what your ‘sex/gender’ is.
I’m not sure if that is really relevant or not.
You said it was ‘nothing sexual’ yet you feel she is very pretty.
I’m not sure if it is ‘normal’ for an 18 year old to find a woman twice her age as being ‘pretty’.
You mentioned that you often find yourself thinking about her.
In what way to you think of her?
Are they just standard thoughts like… “I wonder how she is today”…
or is it something more?
As for her making an ideal soul mate for you later on in life, you need to remember that when you are 35... She will be nearly 70 !!!

It's normal to be attracted to the opposite sex and to want to feel liked. One thing you need to understand though, is that you are in seriously different places in your life. Many older women want to be with younger guys because they make them feel younger. You are like a trophy to them. I don't think there is anything wrong with being friends but don't let it get sexual. It will end up hurting you more in the long run than helping you. Look for someone closer to your age. There are many wonderful people out there but a treasure is something you have to work for. Keep looking you'll find the right person when the time is right.

Dude, it's normal the way you feel towards here. Although your parents might not approve but you're a grown adult. I'm 33 and I've liked girls older and younger than myself. If you work with her, that may be a problem though. If she's just a friend, maybe you should tell her how you feel. Good luck buddy.

They are normal, even for teen girls... When I was younger I had an fascination for older men. I never acted on any of my thoughts, but I got over it. It sounds like a phase, just be careful, it is the young who tends to get hurt in these situations.

yes they are normal.age does not matter to a limit.but when your 18 everything is good to do.jus take yout time with ths lady.she older and might play mind games that can scar u
