long-distance relationships are VERY challenging. They are frustrating because you don't have someone here with you to talk with, to cuddle with, to have sex with, to go out with. And on top of that communication often gets distorted, and the consequences are worse because the expectations build up so much on each side.
Now it's luckily only 8 months. But I'd still recommend a visit at least every 2 months, worst case every 3. In your case it appears that it will take 6 months before you see each other again. This is, in my opinion, too long.
I'm not saying it cannot work. But i'm saying it will be difficult.

P.S. I lived a long-distance relationship for a year but we saw each other for two week-ends plus a month and a half in the middle of that year. And the relationship survived.

Maintaining a long distance love affair is really difficult. First, there should be trust. Believe that you are the only one for her and same with you. Keep a constant communication. Texting and emails are nbot enough, surprise her with calls...I know it will be alittle bit expensive but that is how love is. Making sure that you are letting someone know that you love them even how and what it takes. Good luck.

not bother u. U still have phone and mail system to keep in
touch . If not, keep in touch through mind and heart.
This is just a test of distance to see if your love is strong
