There are actually four fundamental forces
Strong, Weak , Gravitation and Electro-magnetic forces
Strong forces are a quantum mechanics phenomena and so too are weak forces. Electro-magnetism forms part of the general science of electricity. Gravitation is part of the General Relativity theory and gravitons are responsible for it

the electro-weak, strong nuclear force, and gravity are the most basic know forces, but physicists are trying to fin a theory that will merge all of these as is supposed to have happened around the time of the "big-bang".
