They charge so much that I did not even think of tipping my son's photographer!
I tipper the DJ 10% though.

At my first wedding, the limo broke down when we were returning from a garden and the obligatory photos required. We had to hitch a ride in the photographers car--a beat up old Chevy wagon--and that's what we arrived at the reception hall in. Needless to say, I tipped the guy $30.00, a lot in 1978.

I've heard so many horror stories about wedding photos. I'd say it would depend on how well the photos turn out. If you're pleased then yes, if they could have a done a better job I'd say no.

you can tip but remember, your already paying them alot of money just for the service itself. Tipping is done by choise in this matter so the dollar amount would be whatever you find fitting.
If she/he does well tip them a 20+
If not, don't tip them anything.

I wouldn't tip if I were you....unless they did some outstanding job and went beyond what they were contracted to do. Then, maybe, I would give them an added tip. Good luck and Congrats!

If you are paying him directly then no. He is providing a service to you directly. If he is a employee of the studio you hired then yes. If he did an outstanding job, yes give him a bonus.

Like in situationing yes. The worst that they can do is stomp off and they waant to get paid.

I didn't with mine. They charge so much money anyway. Nicer to send a thank you card which he can then show to prospective clients

Some people do, some people don't. But if we're me, I'd give twenty - thirty bucks.
