Thats a mere 'start' for the long coarse still up ahead of him.Though I appreciate the fact that he trying to be a phoenix and reinvent himself, even then his prospects are still a little murky.Team India currently has a reservoir of untapped potential waiting to be opened.Ganguly will simply be an old wine in a new bottle, even if he is successful in his attempt, for all we know Greg wants to see innovation ,of which Ganguly is a little short of.
But then again, its a cyclical process in-out of the team. The fastest route will be to perform EXCELLENTLY ,IMPECCABLY in domestic circuit. He CANT afford to compromise on this and rest thinking that he will be selected. He HAS to slog really hard for it.
Its up to his cricket 'star' thats watching over him.
I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Well, at present he is not in a good sporting or "political form" to be included in the Indian national cricket team, I think. But Sourav is also famous to prove all predictions wrong.

Considering his poor form in the recent past and also considering the fact that many talented youngsters are available for selection, Mr. Ganguly will not be able to come back into national team

I wish he had come back but to be frank he has a very remote chance of making it to the INDIAN team .
First of all he needs to make his bat answer his criticisers rather than use his tongue which has worsened the situation so much .
I agree that he had given great achievements to the team as captain and a player but past is past and at present the situation demands him to perform to make his way back .
At present it is the survival of the fittest in any field and cricket is not an exception .

Well I don't think so because he is not performing well in any match therefore there is no reason to get him selected.
