LMAO!! I honestly have no good answer, I wish I had thought of that as a question myself. I was doing the exact same thing last night. Sometimes I keep thinking that maybe there was something I missed. Never mind the fact that I've looked so many times I have everything in there memorized. Hoping for inspiration or a change in appetite. Maybe something will strike my fancy that didn't look interesting before. If someone comes up with a way to change the food or does find the snack fairy, give him my name and send him my way. LOL. Thanks for a good chuckle this morning.

Refridgerator gazing is a well known phenomenon. It's not that you expect to find different food as such, it's more that you are looking for inspiration, you're bored or you're feeling insecure. The state of your fridge and your fridge response is strongly connected to your sense of self and well being.

So if your fridge is full of old milk, rotting vegetables and ancient takeaways and your fridge response is to stare at it for a while before closing the door and shuffling off to play more Grand Theft Auto, you need to sort your life out.

Indecisiveness. We come back again and again hoping that something that is in there will be what we want only to find out there really isn't anything in there that we want. Then we end up making a late nite run to a taco shop or your fav food joint!

Thats why you keep spare keys to your neighbors houses and go look in their fridge. I'm sure you will find something new and different.

LOL Dude I went grocery shopping last night and both of my kids and my husband stood there with the door open looked over at me and said "What is there to eat?". WTF They are the ones looking in there! lol I stand and stare in there like the lucky charms leprechaun might have left something good, usually when I'm bored.

There's something deeply satisfying about the sucking sensation when one opens the fridge door. :P
