Want a cool dinner money tin not the old baccy tins!!!

2006-09-05 01:32:58 · 6 answers · asked by Jane H 4 in Beauty & Style Fashion & Accessories

He's four and it's his first day at school. I do need something similar to a baccy tin, just not with the 'Old Holborn' thing! I'm thinking something cool for boys and 'Lazytown' would be ideal! but anything cool would be great. Cheers

Just take him with you to the stores in your area and let him pick his own. Just because you want something for him doesn't mean he'll like it.
I don't think you will have much luck with an actual tin, try a fabric or leather wallet. He could even find one that has his favorite characters (if he's still little) on it. Don't worry too much about style or fashion just yet. It should be more important that it holds up to all the abuse it will have to take. It should be durable and easy to carry. A tin may not fit as well in his back pocket.
If he doesn't actually need it for school money, then just keep browsing eBay and your local stores until you find the one you and he like.

I saw a great Spongebob Square Pants money tin small enough to put in his pocket and designed like a luchbox. It was in a shop called Smart Ideas, Touchwood, Solihull.
