Any thoughts about him?

I loved watching him. He was CRAZY! He will be missed by many, I'm sure. I hate that he left behind 2 children. But, I guess he knew the risks he took were sometimes life threatening.

Strangely enough, I actually do. I'm not real crazy about crocs, snakes, turtles and such, but I enjoyed watching his show because he was funny and really sincere. He was so genuine and down to earth. I have a lot of respect for him because he was passionate about his causes and beliefs. I feel so sorry for his wife and kids. I can't imagine what their life must be like at this moment. I kinda remember feeling this way when Princess Diana died. You know it's true, but it's still hard to believe it's really happening. Another thing that's really starting to irk me is all the jokes and smart remarks etc. about him, his life and his death. I don't mean to be a bleeding heart or anything, but this is getting ridiculous. The man has only been dead one day. Show a little respect for pete's sake!! Sadly enough, I can't say that I've never laughed at jokes like this before and someday these may start to be funny too, (doesn't say much for us as a society, does it?), but not right now. If we stop and think about it though, it really shouldn't ever be funny at all. Because if it was our family or our friend, someone we knew personally, we would NEVER think it was humorous and we wouldn't tolerate jokes or making fun about it EVER!! I'm just sharing a few random thoughts. Sorry for rattling on so much. It's really early in the morning and I didn't get a lot of sleep last night so I'm sure nothing I'm saying makes any sense.

Its a bit hard to miss someone who you never personally knew.
But my thoughts on it is that we should just keep out of it and let the family grieve for themnot to talk on tv I think that is what they want.
So I am just minding my own business when it comes on the telli I change the channel.

yeah, i do kinda miss him. well, i anticipate missing new programs of his. i've seen about every episode of crocodile hunter, croc files, croc diaries and confessions of a croc hunter. and that's no crock! (cringe - couldn't help it, sorry) i love all of those shows, and will miss the new ones he would've made. i also miss knowing there's someone in the world doing what he did - if that makes sense - in bringing wildlife conservation to such a vast audience in such an entertaining and passionate way.

Who does not pass over him? My hubby became an avid viewer of his tutor The Crocodile and a great fan of his. I enjoyed him too and it became in simple terms tragic the way he died. little question he would be extraordinarily neglected worldwide. i'm hoping he's ultimately at peace everywhere he's.

I don't really miss him. Just saddened by his untimely passing. Tragic and yet, he died doing what he loved. The beauty of TV is that there will always be re-runs etc, so its like he never died. I feel terrible for his kids.

It's very sad, he was kind of crazy, I guess it was just a freak accident. :(
