For the moment, the latest and the most comprehensive version o Windows is “Windows XP Professional x64 Service Pack 2”. Other than that, you have the “Windows XP Home Edition, Media Center and Tablet PC” too. The latest to be released is “Windows Vista”. The company will release the product in the beginning of year 2007 (hopefully!)

You mean, "latest version of windows" that Microsoft now runs???
It is called Linux, and runs all the 45,000 systems on Microsoft.com, Hotmail.com, MSN.com, and the labs, routers, and development workstations, on Redmond Campus!
