The only answer to this is exercise! If you work REALLY hard, you might lose about 5/6lbs..then eat fruit...fish and vegetables more often! Cut out the crap and just go with the flow!

Consume more calories than in-taking. Does cardiovascular exercises 30 min a day (preferably early in the morning). Followed with resistance training 3 rounds x 12-15 reps 3 days in a week on upper body, abs and lower body. You can do abs everyday though. No desserts. Only raw veggie for snack. Pack your own breakfast and lunch and eat only boiled veggies for dinner. Return to this routine after holiday until your reach your goal weight. Willpower and self-discipline are most important.
Do more walking during your holiday.

YOu dont say how much, however, besides the fact its not healthy to yoyo etc, if your really serious....
Exercise, excrcise, exercise, walk heaps, do sit ups, push ups.
Drink only water and heaps of it, make a big pan of vegatable soup, freeze it in portions and eat it for breakfast dinner and tea
but make sure to put some protein in it, like beans otherwise you will just get hungry and binge.
If you want a great veggie soup recipe, email me and ill give you mine, its yummy. Oh and although we are always told its wrong, I always make sure I have a bowl before bed, its too hard to try to sleep when ur tummy is rumbling, much easier to ignore it when ur busy of a day
Oh and if ur desperate for SOMETHING during the day, 10almonds
not only will u lose weight, ur skin will be glowing cos of al lthe vegetables (dont make a watery vegetable soup)

Depends on your current weight.. how much over weight are you? There is no healthy way to loose weight quickly.. and if this is for a short term fix you will end up putting it all back on and more...
My advice is to start when you get back and continue with a long term healthy living plan.
If you really need to loose weight fast try slim fast.

If you are only going to do it short term - then have a look at the Sacred Heart diet. You only follow it for a week or so, but the pounds do drop off.
BUT - please do not do it for too long, it is healthy, but only for a week. Any longer would not be advisable.

Failing that - why not just not worry about it! I am sure you look great anyway, why not refuse to give in to the intolerable pressure we are all put under nowadays to look skinny!
Or work on having a healthy diet all year round, so you never have to worry about your weight?

Atkins is gr8 for fast weight loss u could lose about half a stone in 2 wks so ud prob lose 5lb which realistically is the most u could lose in 10 days!

I asked my doctor that and he said "don't eat" he was deadly serious he had to lose weight for an op and told me if I took my vitamins and had a drink when I was hungry I would be fine. Having said that I never put it into practice I love to eat. I did find the Atkins diet good but only short term

work out everday (if you are serious about it)
doesnt mean extremes it means go for a 20 min run and do some weights and eat healthy and swear off sweets and desserts till you get back from vacay
seriously i dropped a lot doing this for 2 weeks and now i eat what i want and just work out 3 times a week

Drink 8fl.oz cups of water a day and count your calories to make sure you don't eat over 1300 calories a day. Eat your 5 portions of fruit/veg and do at least 30minutes exercise a day. You can also do a certain exercise depending where you want to see a change, eg: thighs/bum - cycling, walking, jogging. arms/neck - push ups, lifting weights. A great overall exercise is swimming.

what you need to do is eat healthy,and get ready for next years Holiday.you cannot do much in 10 days and stay fit for a Holiday in such a short time,and who wants to be cutting back when on holiday,just get out there and enjoy,when your there look at everybody else bet you will be slimmer than most.
