how about some oldies? There's always the classics by the Beetles and Elvis. There are also some great '80s/'90s songs by Billy Joel ("Vienna") and the Go-Go's ("Head over Heels," "We Got the Beat").

Hm... try Guns N' Roses "November Rain" and "Patience", Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven". They are not too heavy. You know, you should try a few heavy metal, hard rock songs. They are not bad. Guns N' Roses is a good band to start with.
