If they are so good at giving hibenation advice and care details, can someone please explain to me why their torts keep dying...they should have a life span of around 150 years.

Blue Peter are famous for having a curse when it comes to animals. Tortoises, dogs, cats.... if you love your pet do not donate it to Blue Peter.

According to the Tortoise Tust UK, blue peter is notorious in their terrible care for their tortoises.

they didn't and so they died - and 150 years is tortoise years, not human years.
