Most insurance companies do not pay for infertility related tests and they are expensive.
There are many reasons that you could not be getting pregnant. It could be a medical reason but it could also be that you are not trying at the best time or trying too much. My nephew and his wife had one baby and tried for a year before I explained to him how to figure out when his wife was ovulating. He also said that they were having sex every night. The sperm isn't strong enough if you have sex every night. Within two months of our talk, they were pregnant.
I got my information from a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertilty" by Toni Weschler. It should be a must read for every women. Not only for getting pregnant but for the way hormones affect our bodies.
There is also a vitamin/herb called "Fertility Blend" that you can buy at any GNC or store that carries GNC products. I started using it to regulate my hormones. I noticed immediately that I produce more mucus during ovulation and I don't have the problems with ovarrian cysts. It has Vitex in it and I know that herb regulates hormones. It also has folic acid and some other things. I haven't tried just Vitex to see if that would work the same.
Before you pay for expensive tests, read the book. You'll be amazed at what you learn about your own body.

loads of reasons!!
Irregular periods
polycistic overies syndrome (pcos)
endromatriosis
blocked tubes...
the list is endless. Me and my bf were trying for 5 years before being told i couldnt have kids. 2 years on and i gave birth to a baby girl, as healthy and beautiful as anyting. My advice is go and talk to your doc or family planning clinic. Good luck.
