I like to carry around about 30€ - unless I'm going shopping, then I need more!
I have 37€ today, so I'm about right.
I don't like carrying too much around, in case I get pickpocketed or I forget the money is in there and put my trousers through the wash!!

that depends on how far from payday i am...i like to have $20-$30 on me, but on the day before payday, if i have $5 I'm pretty jazzed about it.;)
