I have a 6 week old hamster.
It Is white with red eyes.
It Is Short Haired.
Could someone please tell me what type this is?
And Please could someone tell me when its going to get used to me because at the moment it doesnt like me being around it and is just sleeping all the time.

Without knowing the size it would be impossible to say which species this is as you can have albino hamsters of any variety.
If it is a baby then if it is 1" to 2" long it could be a russian winter white albino, if it is 3" to 4" long it is probably a syrian albino. If it is a syrian kep it alone as it will attack any other hamste except when it meets the oposite sex when they are in season.
Russians can be kept in groups but will breed profusely.
Baby hamsters like to sleep a lot, don't forget they are nocturnal and are active when you are asleep.

Sounds like its an albino short-haired hamster. And the sleeping all the time doesn't mean its not used to you or that it doesn't like you, hamsters are nocturnal animals, they sleep all through the day and they are awake for a few hours at night.

It's a domestic shorthair, of the albino red-eye type.
If you find a food it likes, feed that to it by hand everyday through the cage, it will trust you more and more.

It's albino, and all hamsters are like that, temperamentally. If you handle it often, it will tolerate handling. I don't think they make very good pets. Rats are way friendlier, cleaner, smarter, etc., and they don't poop on you. But thats just my opinion.

Seems to be an albino short hair, unless it has other markings.
Hamsters are nocturnal, meaning they are active at night. Try handling it more then.
