david beckham. shite player- can't dribble, doesn't run at players, has no technical ability on the ball to speak of whatsoever that is on par with ronaldinho. he's only famous because he's married to an ex-spice girl who couldn't sing for toffee. i cannot stand the hype surrounding this guy. if any one player was holding the english national squad back, it was most certainly him. and he was no captain. was glad when he relinquished the captain's armband. hopefully, we never have to see him in the england team ever again. he thinks he's as good as anyone, when nine times out of ten, anyone who knows the beautiful game inside out and a fan of it, are aware that the only person he is kidding is himself.
and this coming from a real madrid fan, i know! but i hate him and everything he stands for. he personifies almost everything that is wrong about the game today. wealth and money, fame, celebrity- all this, plus a big bloody ego to go with it too.

Thats got to be DAVID BECKHAM without any shadow of doubt. Hasn't play any good football consistently for the last five years and now that he hasn't got Ericsson and the previous Real president behind him you see a lot less of him playing football that for sure.
