Please can someone tell me what the hell is wrong with claire on corranation street?Is her mum really dying or is she just cracking up.Shes driving me mad.

Oh God she just drives me insane. I'm not sure who's worse - her or Gail. I wish they'd just kill her off or something. I never really liked her but it's developed into an unhealthy hatred ever since she got those ridiculous glasses. I don't think her mother's dying - I think she's just gone nuts and is looking for an excuse to run away from it all instead of staying at home with her new baby.
Thank you for bringing that up and letting me vent my anger!!

she has post natal depression from having the baby and she just made it up about her mum so she would have an excuse to not have 2 deal with the baby as she feels unable 2 cope and this means that she wont be expected 2 spend all her time with her baby. ashley finds out that her mum aint realli sick tho!i agree she is annoying esp those glasses!! and gail is also realli annoying!!!

She's got very bad post natal depression. I know a few women who've suffered in the past, but never known anyone to maintain that their parent was dying. Weird script writing. By the way, she's driving me mad too!!

Corrie is getting like Eastenders,depressing rubbish! She is going to try and kill one of the kids,why can't they just let one person in the street have a happy life! especially Ashley after all of his heartache!

No her mother is not dying she is just cracking up because of the baby Ive forgot the word what they call it when you have just given birth (post nantal depression??) Its driving me mad aswel. I hate when they carry on storylines for too long!

She is experiencing post natal depression, has turned as mad as a box of frogs and the storyline will invole her trying to kill at least one of the children in the very near future... poor old Ashley.....

what happened is when she had the baby, she never bonded with it and feels guilty about that and this has caused her to over do it with work and other things so that she never has to be alone with her baby. what she needs is counselling. dont think her mum is dying either

i remember reading that she has bad post natal depression, and i think at one point she pushes her babys buggy in to the road...hope this helps..
