Well it all depends what you want from an anime. If you're looking for a bittersweet romance anime I'd go with Saikano. If you're looking for a humorous anime go with Fruit basket or Naruto. If however, you're looking for a kick *** violent anime, look no further than Akira. You may want to try this site - www.anime-planet.com. It's a recommendation database. You simply look up an anime you have alredy seen and it recommends others like it.
