How dangerous are Cobras?

They are not too venomous, but they are very aggressive - though not quite as aggressive as the Black Mamba. Cobras, in general, kill a lot of people and that's only because they live where the world has the densest human populations and encounters are very often.

It's well known that bites can be non-fatal if treated within a few hours of a bite and it's almost always the case where a cobra will strike only once unlike many other species. So, for me Cobras are not the most dangerous snake in the world but will command a lot of respect.

Cobras are dangerous plain and simple. if you see one run away. dont look at it, some cobras spit that may cause blindness. Dont try to touch one, they are beautiful animals and a wonderous creature, but would you stick your head in a sharks mouth?? if not then dont approach a cobra, if yes call your local white coat society, they have a special jacket for you.

Very dangerous. I have worked with reptiles and I had the opportunity to work with cobras. They are so dangerous, regardless of training, I turned the opportunity down. Even from in their cage they are always striking. I would stay far away from them.

Very! Most snakes will run away if given a chance,but cobras are aggressive.They can spit poison in your eyes then crawl over to you while you're blinded and bite you! Death comes very fast!
