When you go to your e-mail page click on check mail or click on in-box like you usually do to get into your mailbox.

Once you are in there on the left hand side right above in-box there is an option to edit folders.

Click on that and it opens up all your folders and you can either choose to rename or delete one.

I had a hard time finding this myself.

to delete a folder in your yahoo email, log in, on the left side near where it says inbox, click edit, that will take you to the page where you can rename and delete any folder, and they do have to be empty to be deleted

it that navigation bar on the left side that lists all your folders, right above "inbox(number of unread emails)" it should say 'Folders [add-edit]'. hit the edit button. it should take you to a list of all your folders and right next to your folder names will be '[Rename - Delete].' but your folder must be empty in order for you to delete.

Hey I don't have an answer, but I'd like to know the answer to this question too. There's a folder sitting in my email address with no emails in it.
