Yes it is, But it is illegal 2 upload or download copyrighted contents. But nobody really cares abt limewire coz it is a P2P file transfer software. It cannot control people from downloading copyrighted stuff. Using limewire is as good as legal, but using it for downloading copyrightes stuff is illegal. Well, but nobody gives a damn for that. There is no problem in having limewire in your system.

If the material being downloaded is copyrighted (meaning most music and videos) then it is illegal. If the material is not copyrighted or the artist has allowed downloading, then it is legal. But 99% of the files being shared on Limewire and similar Peer to Peer programs is illegal.

The site would not still be operating if it was not legal, sure you can get some illegal files from the site but if it is used for study purpose it's fine, well at least in my country,or as long as you don't use the file that will cause a copyright infringment like if you were using it to download stuff so you can sell to others.

What a loaded question! Among the internet community this genre of question has the same potency as abortion does among christians. The answer in truth, is that NO P2P software program is illegal. The software simply acts as a catalyst to transfer information from one computer to another. If you opt to upload or download illegal material (i.e. copyrighted) it is hardly the fault of the software. Many cases have been brought against the organizations, and I fear that many of them have been brought down unjustly because of it. The only company that I truly think got what they deserved was Napster. Not because of his software, but because he was brazen enough to go on national television and brag about stealing other peoples work, but I digress. Use the software as you see fit, and if that includes the download and distribution of illegal files, it's your prerogative.

To keep yourself bit more safe do not allow the software the files from your computer. Good thing to do: If you download any files transfer them from the download folder to some new one which you can open on your desktop. This way you will always keep the upload folder empty and you are not distributing the music yourself

"yet now i won't be able to discover the record." of direction you won't be able to. And, it rather is WHY maximum different cyber web Browsers do not actually have a RUN BUTTON, cyber web Explorer is El Toro Ca-Ca. return to the comparable internet site the place you discovered the video in the previous, yet this time, pick the save BUTTON, rather of RUN. Or extra suited, try Mozilla Firefox 21, or Google Chrome, rather.
